1.6L Ford Timing Chain Tensioner & Rubbing Block Kit

This combination kit includes both the timing chain tensioner and timing chain tensioner pad (rubbing block) for the 1.6L Ford OHV Kent engine. This is a wear item and should be replaced at every engine rebuild. The tensioner spring can also weaken with age, making the whole tensioner assembly ineffective and upsetting cam and ignition timing. This kit includes both the tensioner and the tensioner pad for the Ford 1600 Kent engine. It works with the standard single-row timing chain and is legal for FF1600. This is part # FP600-602.
